ATA Freight Line has earned recognition as a Partner-Level Supplier for 2011 in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program. The Partner-Level status is Deere & Company's highest supplier rating. The New York based ATA Freight Line was selected for the honor in recognition of its dedication to providing products and services of outstanding quality as well as the company's commitment to continual improvement.
ATA Freight Line employees accepted the award during a formal ceremony held on February 14, 2012 at the John Deere corporate headquarters in Moline, Illinois. Suppliers who participate in the Achieving Excellence program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength - which is a measure of responsiveness. John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to establish a process of supplier evaluation and feedback and to promote continual improvement.
ATA Freight line had been awarded Partner Level Supplier status for the fiscal year 2010 as well. With this year's award, ATA Freight Line is now marked as one of the rare logistics suppliers for Deere & Company to have received the award for two consecutive years. The back-to-back awards are especially notable, as they include ATA Freight Line's inaugural year in the Deere & Company program.
